We produce bags made out of local vegan materials in the city of Mytilene on the Greek island of Lesvos. Each bag is designed and created by refugees and migrants, local Greeks, and vulnerable groups residing on Lesvos- and therefore, every shopper shares a message of solidarity, and a story of community integration.
Purchase a bag and support the work of the dedicated tailoring team in Greece.
On Lesvos, the team organize the tailoring workshop in their headquarters in Mytilene, called “OpenSpace”, they create the design for the bags, introduce residents of the camp, and locals on the island, to the project, and develop the sewing and tailoring classes. There are also two tailors who teach the sewing classes, and who lead the production of our beautiful bags. The team on the ground in Greece consists of the project leader, Christina, the procurement manager, Annie, the media coordinator, Kevin, and the founder of Starfish Foundation, Melinda.

The tailor shop is located in the capital of Lesvos in the community house “Open Space”. This is where the bags are designed and manufactured. Workshops are held on site, which teach the participants how the bags are made. The aim of the workshops is to get people out of the refugee camp and bring them together with migrants and the residents of Lesvos. At the moment, a seamstress and a tailor take care of the production of the bags.
